Reactivation

The members of the Omega Iota Omega Chapter welcome all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated to visit, transfer, or reactivate with our chapter. For more information on the transfer or reactivation process, please download the appropriate submission forms (Transfer Verification Form, Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form), by visiting AKA1908.com.

Before transferring membership from one chapter to another, you must obtain clearance from the former chapter. Before transferring your status as a General Member to chapter member, you must obtain clearance from the Corporate Office. No chapter can accept an inactive member into active membership before receiving a completed Transfer Verification Form. Please have the President and Treasurer of the last chapter you were affiliated with complete the form and return the original to you. Bring the form to the next chapter meeting. Please keep a copy for your files.

Chapter meetings are for members only and held on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m. excluding the months of July and August. Please complete the following Visitor Form to let us know you plan to attend to ensure you have all pertinent information for the applicable meeting date. Business attire is required for every chapter meeting unless otherwise indicated. First time visitors are encouraged to arrive early as credentials are verified prior to admitting visitors into the meeting. Please be prepared to present your most recent membership card (copies are not valid), Ivy Leaf magazine with name and address label attached or certificate of membership (copies are not valid), along with photo identification upon arrival.

Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at the graduate level is by invitation only.
